DESCRIPTION: LPW - Swiss lady's high grade bezel-winding ball-form watch, together with non-matching diamond pin, 17mm, 18K gold and platinum basse-taille enamel original case with touch-mark on bale, bezel-wind, bezel-set by holding in pin while turning, fancy WED, platform lever escapement, the nicest type we see in this genre, 15J, gilt, s#16438. The Edwardian style pin is platinum with white gold pin-catch, set with rose-cut diamonds, 35mm long, the filigree look working to some extent with the platinum filigree overlay of the watch. Gross weight of assembled watch and pin together 13.2 dwt (20.5 g). The articles come in a box made of combined daguerreotype cases.
CONDITION: Mvt: GRO, near mint mvt condition overall; dial mint; hands mint; case shows hardly any wear, hardly any MFS, no dents or dings, perfect enamel and complete detail, only the bale with any loss; good glass crystal. The pin is also near mint overall, very clean, stones complete.

CONDITION: Mvt: GRO, excellent mvt condition overall; dial perfect; hands near mint; case shows little wear, hardly any MFS except on cuvette, no dents or dings except for compression to light gauge cuvette, complete and perfect enamel detail, all stones present; bow pivots freely; missing crystal.
