The 72 lots of mostly bulk or multiple item lots will be offered only to bidders in attendance at our auction location. These lots will be sold as is, where is, and must be taken on the same day. We will have team members ready to assist you in loading your vehicle, if needed. No absentee or online bidding of any sort will be offered on the Bonus Auction lots.

DESCRIPTION: Mvt only - H.W. Smith, Boston, Mass marked on dial and mvt, 15J, 46mm, white enamel SS dial, KWKS, gilt mvt, s#13. Comes with key. Hiram W. Smith was a watchmaker and watch material supplier that was active for a number of years in the Boston area. This elegant bridge model movement ebauche is believed to have been supplied to Smith by Piguet Freres of Switzerland with some of its finishing elements likely then executed by Smith within his Boston workshop. There is some excellent historical information on Smith as well as photos of two very similar movements (s#10 and s#11) found within the February 2005 NAWCC Bulletin article "George P. Reed and Hiram W. Smith, Two of Greater Boston's Individual Watchmakers" by Gerrit A. Nijssen. CONDITION: Mvt: GRO...

DESCRIPTION: Mvt only - Waltham, American Watch Co, 19J, Model 1888, 16S, HC model mvt, white enamel SS dial with distinctive Old English initial signature as correct to this mvt grade, SW-SS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, raised gold jewel settings, winding wheels with distinctive radial spoke finish, ornate nickel damascene, s#6000127. CONDITION: Mvt: Starts running upon winding but with likely broken mainspring as an audible slip is heard after every several turns of the stem, overhaul needed...

A rare marking that is seen far less frequently than some of the more commonly encountered railroad marked Model 1883 movements. CONDITION: Mvt: NR, broken mainspring, balance is gummy, hairspring looks out of shape, overhaul needed...
