DESCRIPTION:
WW - J.Vial, Paris Indicateur B.C.V.S., French Air Force bomb timer, unissued, manual wind, 63mm x 70mm to lug tips, four wire lugs to mount into the cockpit instrument cluster measure 17mm, original nickel snap back case with bi-directional bezel, no strap, original grey black dial with white painted chapter and numerals, 7J, movement by Minerva, s#2140. Includes original red presentation box marked J. Vial, 55 Rue Caulaincourt, Paris. Depressing the corwn starts the chronograph in traditional clockwise fashion; when pushed again the timer reverses and starts counterclockwise to time in 30 second intervals.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide, very light surface spotting to plates; flawless dial; mint hands; unpolished case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings; original crown shows no wear; good glass crystal. Box shows hardly any wear.
