DESCRIPTION: SEE SPECIAL SHIPPING NOTE at end of description. Clock - Charles Warner/ Ansonia electric time and strike tower clock, painted cast iron movement and stand with black pinstriping, tower clock measures when assembled approximately 66 inches tall from bottom of cast iron base to the highest point of the clock x 31.5 inches at widest point x 19 inches deep at widest point, clock weighs in excess of 200 pounds. Included with this clock are several original antique electric motors from the turn of the century with original brass brushes (note these run on 9V DC), also included is various other material to help put it back into operating condition. This particular clock was taken from the clock tower of the Fairfield County Courthouse in Bridgeport, Connecticut and it comes with its entire life story, including pictures of it installed in its original home as well as diagrams and patents and ample correspondence regarding it. PLEASE NOTE the last two photos are not included with the lot and were obtained from Wikipedia Images. NOTE: No in-house shipping available. Clock - Gaston Guignan, 136 Cours St, Jean 136 Bordeaux, French pinwheel time and strike tower clock, weight driven, green painted cast iron frame with brass highlights, mahogany stand is later and did not originally come with this clock, tower clock measures 58 inches tall from bottom of mahogany base to the highest point of the clock x 41 inches wide x 23 inches deep, clock weighs in excess of 200 pounds. Truly an exquisite piece for the clock collector or real estate developer who wants to add a wonderful tower clock to either their home or public building. NOTE: No in-house shipping available. DESCRIPTION: Clock - LeCoultre 8-day mantle clock, gold-plated brass case with curved wire base and swiveling center, gold starburst dial appears floating in the center, lever escapement, no s# present, measures 8.5 inches x 8.25 inches, a truly lovely clock for the person who wants to wake up to a sun of sorts. Includes the original blue LeCoultre box.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, nearly flawless movement condition overall, no oxide; flawless dial with light dust on the inside of the glass that could be cleaned; excellent black painted hands; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings; excellent glass crystals. Box shows little wear, light discoloration on top.

Clock - Stillman, Allen & Co, New York by Gosselin & Riddle, unusual time only ship's clock with swing out dial and movement set within a black painted solid iron case with a bronze bezel and granite base, gilt brass dial with engraved Roman numerals inset with black paint, case measures 12 inches at widest point of base x 12 inches tall from base to highest point x 6.5 inches deep, dial measures 8 inches, clock with an approximate gross weight of 30 pounds. This is quite the curious clock as no information could be found on the maker; however Stillman, Allen & Co, also known as the Novelty Iron Works, was an iron foundry that specialized in boilers for steam ships and other maritime related material, far from your typical clockmaker or jeweler. CONDITION: Mvt: Runs and stops, recommend a watchmaker's overhaul before regular use, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, brass movement with protective slides to keep dust and undesirable things out; excellent dial with light surface scratches and tarnish typical of a clock of this era; excellent pierced hands; case shows light wear, light paint loss on the iron case in several areas, good glass. Includes the original fitted box and paperwork.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running however appears sluggish, recommend a watchmaker's overhaul, flawless cosmetic mvt condition overall; mint clear glass dial; mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, almost no wear to finish, very light spotting to the base, excellent glasses. Box shows very little wear overall, light staining to top.

An impressive and highly unusual piece for the intrepid sailor or person who enjoys nautical material.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, very little oxide; excellent dials, some with more surface spotting than others; excellent hands; unpolished case shows light wear, gilt case worn to brass in many areas, no dents or dings; good plastic crystals.

CONDITION: Mvt: Running, tested with a fresh battery however no battery is included, takes the highly unusual LR50, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; flawless dial; mint hands; unpolished case shows little wear, light surface tarnish to finish around the corners of the base, no dents or dings; good plastic crystal. Box shows hardly any wear.
