The Omega Speedmaster was chosen by NASA in 1965 after outperforming numerous other contenders in rigorous testing. They were first issued during the Gemini program using this style watch, famously worn and nicknamed the "Ed White" for the astronaut caught wearing the piece. More Speedmasters were thereafter purchased, and starting with the Apollo program, astronauts were being issued the "Professional" marked 105.012's in a beefier case with crown and pusher protection. They remain flight qualified by NASA to this day and accompany astronauts to the ISS regularly. Modern interpretations of this watch are still in production.

Marcos from Gretchen and Danding," integrated 18K gold mesh bracelet with Vacheron signed buckle, original champagne dial with black painted baton indices, 17J cal 1003/1, Genève sealed movement, s#683151, triple signed. A highly unusual watch with an incredibly dark past and likely a one-off commissioned piece. This watch was gifted by Danding Cojuangco and his wife to then "President/Dictator" of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos. Danding was a billionaire who was part of Marcos' inner circle "The Rolex 12" during the martial law years from 1972 to 1981. This watch was allegedly gifted to an Air Force Sergeant Timothy W. Metcalf who assisted in the airlift evacuation of Marcos when he fled the Philippines. Included is a redacted printout of the article that was included with the watch. A non-redacted copy in the May 15th, 1986 issue of The Pantograph of Bloomington, Illinois can be seen in greater detail on www.newspapers.com website if one has a membership to this site. WW - Seiko "Captain Willard" Diver, ref 6105-8119, circa 1971, automatic, 44mm x 48mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back case with bi-directional dive bezel and locking crown, mesh stainless steel bracelet, original black dial with applied silver luminous indices, date aperture at 3, 17J cal 6105, s#141583, triple signed. Famed for being used in the 1979 war epic Apocalypse Now, worn by Martin Sheen as Captain Willard. These plucky Seikos were quite popular with GIs in Vietnam due to their incredible durability and relative cheap cost.
