WW - Omega Speedmaster "Ed White" Pre-Moon, ref S 105.003-64, manual wind, 39mm x 48mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back straight lug case with round pump pushers and a "DON" (Dot Over Ninety) black tachymeter bezel, brown leather strap, original black step dial with applied silver Omega logo and luminous painted indices, three inset subregisters for minute recording, hour recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J, cal 321, s#22089448, triple signed. The Omega Speedmaster was chosen by NASA in 1965 after outperforming numerous other contenders in rigorous testing. They were first issued during the Gemini program using this style watch, famously worn and nicknamed the "Ed White" for the astronaut caught wearing the piece. More Speedmasters were thereafter purchased, and starting with the Apollo program, astronauts were being issued the "Professional" marked 105.012's in a beefier case with crown and pusher protection. They remain flight qualified by NASA to this day and accompany astronauts to the ISS regularly. Modern interpretations of this watch are still in production.

WW - Vacheron & Constantin 1500 Piso gold coin watch, manual wind, 35mm x 42mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original 21K gold and 18K yellow gold coin edge case with hidden dial, raised button on case side reveals time, inside cover presentation reads "President F. E. Marcos from Gretchen and Danding," integrated 18K gold mesh bracelet with Vacheron signed buckle, original champagne dial with black painted baton indices, 17J cal 1003/1, Genève sealed movement, s#683151, triple signed. A highly unusual watch with an incredibly dark past and likely a one-off commissioned piece. This watch was gifted by Danding Cojuangco and his wife to then "President/Dictator" of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos. Danding was a billionaire who was part of Marcos' inner circle "The Rolex 12" during the martial law years from 1972 to 1981. This watch was allegedly gifted to an Air Force Sergeant Timothy W. Metcalf who assisted in the airlift evacuation of Marcos when he fled the Philippines. Included is a redacted printout of the article that was included with the watch. A non-redacted copy in the May 15th, 1986 issue of The Pantograph of Bloomington, Illinois can be seen in greater detail on www.newspapers.com website if one has a membership to this site. We include a non-redacted copy with the watch, and it is shown in the last photograph. Gross weight of assembled watch 65.7 dwt (102.2 g).

Since 1977, it was reborn as a regularity race for classic and vintage cars. Participation is limited to cars produced no later than 1957 which had attended (or were registered to) the original race. It's not an uncommon sight to see former Formula 1 and professional race car drivers competing with regular enthusiasts.

WW - Omega Chronostop Monopusher, flyback center second chronograph, ref 145.007, circa 1970s, manual wind, 41mm x 47mm to lug tips, 22mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Compressor case with sharp faceted lugs and case with sunburst finish bezel, singular round pump pusher, green NATO strap, original black pie pan racing dial with applied silver baton indices and a tachymeter scale along perimeter, 17J cal 865, s#26571256, triple signed. Truly a bargain in almost every sense of the word, it's hard to beat such a nicely sized vintage Omega with a great look and complication for such cheap money. If ever there was a list of undervalued watches in the collector space, this should be high on the list.

WW - Seiko "Captain Willard" Diver, ref 6105-8119, circa 1971, automatic, 44mm x 48mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back case with bi-directional dive bezel and locking crown, mesh stainless steel bracelet, original black dial with applied silver luminous indices, date aperture at 3, 17J cal 6105, s#141583, triple signed. Famed for being used in the 1979 war epic Apocalypse Now, worn by Martin Sheen as Captain Willard. These plucky Seikos were quite popular with GIs in Vietnam due to their incredible durability and relative cheap cost.

Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; fine-plus dial with several dings on the luminous indices and dial most notably at 6, 7, 8 and 9; excellent relumed hands show light surface spotting; lightly polished case shows very little wear, still retains some of its original factory finishing, no dents or dings; original locking crown shows little wear, lock works as intended; good glass crystal.
